WDLA and the Chicago Fire P.A.S.S. Program

This school year Washington Dual Language Academy had the opportunity to participate in the Chicago Fire P.A.S.S. (Perform and Achieve After School Soccer) Program.  Coached by Mrs. Aguilar, Ms. Palomo and Mr. Schammert for 10 weeks, our fabulous team learned new soccer skills and most importantly learned to support one another as a team!

After two intense District 89 tournaments, the team made its way to SeatGeek Stadium on Saturday, May 25th for the final game.  After the finale, students and families enjoyed watching the Chicago Fire face off against New York City FC.

Thank you to our coaches and players for a wonderful season and a special thank you to Chicago Fire Ambassador Program for partnering with D89 and WDLA.
